THE FESTIVAL OF SANKRANTHI/PONGAL

Muggulu(Rangoli or kolam): Muggulu are artistic intricate patterns drawn on a clean surface, with muggu (chalk or rice flour). During festival time, Indian women draw the most prettiest and complicated designs and patterns on their front porches and decorate them with colors. It is a sight to see. I love rangoli.
