 Leprechauns are small (about 2 feet tall) Irish fairies often dressed like a shoemaker. You can hear the tapping of their hammers as they work away at making shoes for other fairies. Legend says that all leprechauns possess a hidden pot of gold, the location of which is only known to them. If you are lucky enough to catch a leprechaun, he may tell you the whereabouts of his pot of gold. But remember not to take your eyes off him even for a second (he often tricks a person into looking away), because if you do, he will disappear. It is said that a leprechaun hides his treasure at the end of a rainbow ;)
